I want the backstory!
This is not concrete, but this is likely an Aussie TV clip. The song is called “The Other Side” and was part of Tiny’s act and written for him. There is every likelihood that those poor kids were scarred for life. No idea where Tiny’s environmental nous came from; this is one of those stranger-than-fiction bits that the Internet tosses up every week. I’m sure that if one were to make an exhaustive study of every Laugh-In episode, some more knowledge would bubble to the surface. I kid, I kid.
