Nice. Anachronisms abound, though — do you think this is intentional?
Can’t say for sure, although I don’t think they distract/detract in the telling. One thing about Inherent Vice is that it’s very cinematic; his whole canon is one spectacular setpiece after another framed by that mindful blockprose. The California trilogy seems to be looked down upon. What are those people thinking??
