Fitzgerald seeks proceedings before a new grand jury

November 18th, 2005 by badger

“The investigation is continuing.”

Screw Rove. Look at that ridiculous smear on Murtha with that silly “Michael Moore” jab. Bush’s brain is last month’s moldy toast.

I want Cheney to go down in flames now. For violating the Espionage Act. Hell yeah.

Firedoglake is on it.

I thought Taranto hit the Murtha thing out of the park today.

What kind of comments would you have about Phil Agee?

you thought wrong. It’s more like beating a dead horse. I’m baffled (just like little Scotty) why you post a link to that dissembling creep. Look at that last paragraph:

So according to Murtha, “terrorism started” either in March 2003 (with the “invasion of Iraq”) or in May 2004 (when the Abu Ghraib miniscandal came to light). One wonders where he was in, say, September 2001. One wonders, too, how a political party can keep a straight face while putting him forward as a spokesman on national security.

Any informed, rational person would know damned well that Murtha is talking about the terrorism used by the insurgents in Iraq. Taranto’s invocation of September 11th is utterly asinine and irrelevant.

I’m aware of your belief of a connection between Al Qaeda and Saddam Hussein. It’s still nonsense.

i don’t have any comments on Phil Agee. I have them on the fucking traitors in the Bush administration.

Traitors? What happened to the value of information, the public’s need to know and leaks? Are only dissenting leaks to be applauded? I can’t figure out why that would be the case other than they are the most romantic leakers.

What Phil Agee did was far worse, and caused some real harm, but it was possibly justifiable. I thought it was an interesting question and haven’t seen it discussed.

Re: Murtha – the main point is, its old wine in new bottles and its being protrayed by some as new wine. People can agree with Murtha, what he says is not crazy, but they shouldn’t put a misleading label on the story.

The members of the Bush administration are traitors for reasons more serious than the Plame leak. I don’t care to talk about them right now, as i’m in an extremely poor mood (that has nothing to do with Bush.)

Equating Murtha with Michael Moore is more misleading than anything the so-called left or the MSM has come up to describe him.
