Psychic Paramount “Echoh Air” I remember in the ’80s when i wanted metal to sound like this. All of that lockstep thrash speed metal was just no fun. Crash, boom, bang! I think this is what seduced me into prog-rock for awhile, for those blown-out instrumentals in King Crimson, but never did the drums get as primal, or did everything surge into a rage-red bleed-out, spilling entrails all through the cosmos. Are they still playing Pink Floyd in planetariums? If they are, that’s a shame, as this ought to be the soundtrack as one soars through the hearts of stars.
