Pedro Páramo

I just read Pedro Páramo for the third time. Although there are certain passages that stick with me long after i read them, i was still a little fuzzy on every detail of the story. The basic plot is easy enough to extract, and even without grasping the plot, the eeriness of the ghosts creeping through windows and into beds to embrace those they wronged in life and the labyrinth of whispered voices and deserted streets is hard to escape.

There’s an entry on it on Waggish, which in turn points to a longer essay.
